Dr. Rich Dorst
Several years ago I experienced what seemed to me a “nudge” from God to write a book for people who are in need of inspiration to rebuild their lives.
My mission is to get Journey to Freedom: 30 Days to Forgiveness and Hope into the hands and hearts of people who all too often are overlooked in our society. With God’s blessing, Journey to Freedom has inspired tens of thousands of people to transform their attitudes, choices and behavior. As the title suggests, the book itself is a journey, and by applying its lessons along the way, readers will draw closer to the ultimate source of true forgiveness and hope, Christ our Savior.

Each chapter has an inspirational story conveying a particular message. Each message is reinforced in three ways:
I have been enthusiastically encouraged along the way by people who are familiar with our target audience: mission outreach personnel, Salvation Army officers, a retired chaplain, two ex‐inmates who are also in recovery, and a friend who is involved in recovery for sex‐addiction. They have all read the manuscript and have proved to be invaluable consultants to Journey to Freedom.
If you feel that Journey to Freedom: 30 Days to Forgiveness and Hope would be of help in your recovery ministry, hospice care, community outreach, prison ministry or any othereffort seeking to rebuild lives, please get in touch with us. A Spanish edition is also available.
